This is a Semi-Guided/DIY hunt for your Buck, Bull or Special cow hunt with lodging available on the ranch. The ranch owner will show you the lodging, where the deer and elk water, feed and bed. Where the neighbor with at alfalfa laced CRP also lives and introduce you to him, he is right over the fence. Then she will show you the access point for the thousands of acres of BLM land.
Cow hunt on 500 acre on South East Colorado ranch by Hesperus. This voucher is for a 4th season rut hunt 11/12-11/16 on a private ranch that specializes in private land deer and elk hunts. A 3 day Cow elk Hunt $ 995 per person plus $ 99 per night, lodging with a 3 day minimum. Try the access to ?Crow?s Nest Cabin? providing a warm optimum view location to glass hay fields and junipers through the windows. On top of the mountain you will be provided a view of the 100 acre and the 600 acre hayfields along with the ability to look and through a lot of the cedars and other cover.
This lookout tower cabin allows you to glass much of the land below you from the temperature protection of a cabin shelter.
The Draw for this area for deer is 0 points for all but the 4th season.

It is easier to draw a license like the one above than it is to draw a private land only license because of all of the private land which makes the deer population high for bigger than average bucks.
Also Neighbor has xxxx additional access $xxxx for the group. Additionally there is an access to thousands of acres of BLM property. Your group will be the only one on the ranch. Cow licenses are currently available as left overs, first come first serve on the Colorado parks and Wildlife Web site. When they are gone we can?t book any more hunts this year Season is until 1/31/xxxx
Located in the foothills region of the famous GMU741, in the vicinity of the town of Hesperus, that lies quietly in the south west corner of Colorado. The deer are there all year but even more migrate in for the winter. The 4th season Deer season is the best it gets. Big bucks from higher elevations move in the draws and canyons of the 500 acre property. There is easy water just across the road which attracts a lot of deer daily. They feed on our grass hay fields that have a mixture of alfalfa, brassicas forbes and a variety of other grass mixtures. This ranch even has lodging available for a minimal fee.
The landowner voucher provided for this hunt is for a 4th season Buck Mule Deer which history shows a 100% success rate. Most deer taken are 4x4 or larger. The decision on what size of buck to take is the decision of the man behind the trigger.
We can customize the hunt for your needs but will define here the hunt we have discounted and in mind. This vouchers license is good for anywhere in GMU741 private or public land.
NEW: For an additional xxxx acres of adjoining prime private land to hunt, there is an extra $xxxx trespass for up to 4 hunters.
In a nut shell, you have the private land to hunt on and the lodging for 5 days for only $xxxx with a minimum of 2 hunters.
Cow Hunters take note, this is a wintering area for elk and they are already coming in since late September. There are cow licenses left over and 5 day hunts can be done until January 31. The hunt is $ xxxx reduced down to only $995
Lodging can be provided because you most likely will see one passing by in the morning, evening or mid-day. Staying on the ranch has always provided the highest success rate.
We invite you to experience the privacy and safety that this land has to offer. Excellent set up of farmland and fields, forest, ridges and draws, natural blinds, several mud slosh pits, ponds, and water troughs at various locations throughout the property.
We outfit you with the farm land; comfortable accommodations and we will provide you with maps and familiarize you with the area. We will not guide you on your hunt, but we are available to assist you.
This can be a low impact hunt with ranch roads across the property to drive, walk or even with 4 wheelers although the 4 wheelers tend to spook the deer off the property. For those that fill early with a lucky streak there are even casinos and restaurants in the area.

We realize the hunt of your dreams will not be a reality because you will never be in better physical condition than you are today. Instead of planning the hunt when you can afford it when you are 80 years old we want you to be in the condition required to make the hunt successful when you are 60 years old. We can provide you with an interest free loan on a hunt by allowing you to make a $500 deposit on the hunt and pay the balance in payments of $400 every 2 weeks or more. You can use it for a hunt this year as long as it is paid in full 60 days prior to the hunt or it can be stretched to 2 years.
There is a $50 setup fee and the money deposited is non-refundable but can be used for any of the hunts if the primary one doesn't work out.
We offer what no one offers hunts on time at 0% interest.
